I've *always* thought they were amazing, but the sentiment has since tripled. Due to all of the Stamps that I make, I understand that it takes a long time to animate something frame by frame -- but THIS took me FAR too long. And it doesn't even move! 
After I finished the tree trunk, I started getting lazy on the shading... 
As it turns out, drawing and shading things one pixel at a time takes a while. 8D Who knew!

I was already going to suggest working on the shading while waiting, but... you fixed that already
The sheer amount of detail is also frighteningly amazing. I can only imagine how many hours you spent in front of the computer slaving away, trying to get everything pixel perfect.
I love the little shine on the front, it really makes it stand out like the aforementioned "random box in space" that I see.
One thing that sort of bothers me is the space behind the house, around the bottom left corner. It looks like his poor house is sitting directly on the edge of a cliff
Also, the darkest shade on the roof of the house on my right side of the tree seems a little box-ish. I'm not sure if you can fix that easily (I don't do pixel by pixel) but it sort of breaks the fourth wall. (Yes, I'm applying that here xD)
All in all, great work! You should really consider doing emotes
