..."why the heck did I vote for Obama? :O_o:

Have you even been in the United States for the past eight years? :slow:
LOL, and did you see what the alternative was? xD

My reasons are quite numerous. They range from his International Policy, to his support of Education, to his plans for investment in renewable Energy Sources and his intentions to promote Environmentally Friendly jobs and practices, to his plans for Health Care, oh, and then there were his ideas and measures regarding that little US Economy thing. You know the one I mean, right? That itty-bitty one? ;p

But most of all -- and this is more on a personal level: I am tired of the policies that have turned this country into an abyss of apathy, bigotry, ignorance, injustice, debt, international ridicule and disdain, and stupidity -- and I think it's safe to say that this sentiment is felt by a majority of the American public, since they elected Obama by such a landslide. Had it been a close race, I wouldn't be able to claim such things --- but I'm pretty sure the majority of our democracy spoke for itself on Election Day. And have you seen the reaction of the International Community toward Obama's election? They're just as happy as WE are!

But! Before I continue listing my own personal viewpoints or describing them in deeper detail (because I honestly do not believe you really want to read about them, nor do I think you actually wanted an answer to your question in the first place ;)), I am curious about two things:

First, you mentioned that you don't "see eye-to-eye" with Obama, but what exactly do you have qualms with? Can you name at least one specific example, if not more?

And second: Why? What makes that issue so important to you, that it would trump everything else that has been debated, discussed, and mulled over for the last two years?

Those two questions aside, I suppose I have one more question --- but it's more of a rhetorical one. =P

Lololz, what on Earth made you think I was going to "call you racist"? I'm actually a bit shocked that you immediately assumed I believed supporters of other candidates were "racist," and almost amused that you would think I voted for Obama because of something as trivial as skin tone. :slow: For the record, I'd like to think that informed and educated voters base their decisions on something more than skin pigmentation. ;p Lolz, if that were the case, we might as well elect our senators based on the color of their eyes. :XD:

Lol, besides: Bringing up race or ethnicity would be a pointless endeavor, for it avoids any actual discussion of issues, stances, policies, and proposed plans of action. ;p

So. Back to the question(s) at hand: What about Barack Obama are you so vehemently against?

(Lol, long comment is long. But hey! You asked! :lmao:)
